You are looking for the perfect team building activity

You are looking for the perfect team building activity, the one that will win everyone over. The one that will leave your employees happy and united, and your management satisfied and delighted.

Since your business pauses for the length of an internal event, you would love to make the most of those few hours and get real results, real impact, deep change.

Our approach

Welcome to A.I.M. Events.

Here, team building is a tool for performance. We use play to transform your team.

For more than 10 years, we have been creating, testing and inventing cooperation mechanics, collaboration systems and genuine gameplay puzzles to help companies reach their goals.

But none of this works without the players’ full buy-in. To make sure your team building is meaningful, event after event, we have raised our standards. For us, our work has to be exceptional, leaving unforgettable memories in every participant’s mind. It is just as essential to leave no one behind, with accessible, inclusive games that everyone enjoys, without exception. And it is vital that the wow effect lasts, leaving you with a closer-knit group that has discovered itself through the pleasure of playing together.

Why it works

Much more than a game: a bespoke serious game

With us, every minute of play has meaning, purpose and impact. Here are the four ingredients of our recipe.

01

Listening

Trained in the art of questioning, Meylinn knows exactly which questions to ask. You share your ideas as they come, your needs and your challenges, in complete confidence… and often see issues emerge that you had never put into words. 30 minutes is all it takes to take real stock of your company.

02

Fiction

Your challenges are transposed into a fictional world: familiar, yet at a safe distance. No judgement, no lecturing, no anxiety, no stigma: everyone dares to play, debate and make mistakes. And fiction has no limits: no subject is too sensitive, and a single game can tackle several at once.

03

The actors

Coming from theatre, film, television and other arts, our actors cover every type of profile. Trained in team building by Meylinn every year and seasoned improvisers, they play characters that are larger than life, human and endearing. The mirror effect does its work: everyone steps back and sees their own perspective differently.

04

The double effect

Fun and effective, unifying and impactful. By living situations rather than hearing about them, your teams realise things for themselves. The game gets messages across, sparks the “aha” moment and embeds good practices for the long term.

The team

Who are we?

Behind A.I.M. Events is Meylinn LAM, its founder.

An event project manager in business tourism, Meylinn discovered during a stint abroad in Canada how powerful team building can be for a company’s efficiency and profitability. Back in France, she combined her passion for games, her creativity and her rigour to found A.I.M. Events, at just 28. Holder of a Master’s degree in Culture and Communication and author of a thesis on team building, she trains every year in new disciplines: management, the Enneagram, applied AI, collective intelligence… Skills she puts to work in every one of your games.

A.I.M. Events is also, and above all, a troupe.

Which rare and precious profiles could bring as much fun, play, pleasure and enjoyment as seriousness, structure and excellence? Professional actors. For years, Meylinn has surrounded herself with gifted and varied talents, whom she trains in the specific world of team building. She writes the scenario of each game and guarantees it runs smoothly, but she needs experts to embody it and make it fully immersive. And that is exactly what the A.I.M. Events troupe does to perfection: drawing you into their world.

In the end, A.I.M. Events is us and you.

Today, A.I.M. Events would be nothing without you. You, the managers and business leaders who care about your teams and their wellbeing. Your trust has nourished us. With never-before-seen projects. With goals that seemed out of reach. Your feedback has shaped us. With continuous improvements. With details that make all the difference. And your expectations have guided us. Along the right path. Towards a complete, accomplished and coherent vision of team building, as we see it at A.I.M. Events: the very best there is to help your teams grow.

Our method

How we create your team building

From your first call to the big day: about a month.
And as little of your time as possible.

  1. Today

    Your 30-minute audit

Through in-depth questioning, you express your needs and challenges, even if they come out all at once. Everything stays confidential: your answers help us bring out the issue where we can truly make a difference.

    Book my audit
  2. Within 48 hours

    Your tailored proposal

Based on your audit, we propose a bespoke game scenario designed to make a lasting impact on your company. You receive it by email, or we present it to you by video call or in person for the most ambitious projects.

  3. The next 2 weeks

    Writing your scenario

We write your story from start to finish: plot, characters, game mechanics. Every detail is adapted to your group, your venue and your constraints, and designed to serve your goals.

  4. 2 weeks later

    Presenting the scenario

Then we reveal the story created for you, in 30 minutes, by email, video call or in person. Without spoiling the ending, we check together that your subject is covered from every angle.

  5. The following 7 days

    The finishing touches

We make the final adjustments, then our troupe of actors rehearses, on site if needed. The game is taking shape… and your team is getting impatient.

  6. The big day

    Let the game begin!

Your colleagues finally discover the surprise: a fully immersive world, colourful characters with unbeatable wit, gripping plots and exchanges that are both funny and intense. The game works its magic: your team has stepped into the story.

  7. The following days

    The debrief

Right after the game, together with your management and the troupe, we gather participants’ first impressions and the impact on your challenges. A few days later, a follow-up debrief measures the results and the benefits for your teams (ROI and KPIs on request).

A real example

What if we told you a story?

Lionel

Hi Meylinn, we’d love to work with you again for our team day in June. Could you put together a fun little team building for us?

Meylinn

Hi Lionel, and thanks for thinking of us! This year, how about adding even more meaning and purpose to the team spirit? Don’t you have a subject, a theme, a thorn in your side we could tackle?

Lionel

Nothing springs to mind… Maybe safety, but that’s not very glamorous for a game…

Meylinn

Of course it is!!! I can make you something great, really immersive, genuinely fun for your teams. And super effective. I’ve already created this kind of game for clients, it works wonders!

Lionel

OK… why not… I won’t hide that we’ve been putting a lot in place for years, but it’s a complex subject and we have a lot to get across to our teams...

Meylinn

Exactly, trust me. The more complex, the more interesting! If they step into a role-play with my actors, we’ll be able to cover almost every topic, without it feeling too heavy for them. Games are powerful: for understanding, for learning, for getting messages across, for taking things on board…

Lionel

OK, OK, I’m tempted. How do we go about it?

Meylinn

Give me a date and I’ll come and see you at the factory. That way we can go over all the safety points to improve together, and I can scout the site to really get to grips with the subject.

Epilogue

A few days later, Meylinn went to Lionel’s factory. With the health and safety managers, they drew up a rough list of every safety point to improve. The list was long, and the issues serious. But Meylinn had stars in her eyes at the thought of taking on the challenge. So Lionel and his team showed her around. A badly placed pallet, a hard-to-spot fire extinguisher, a slippery floor… Ideas were starting to take shape.

Back at the office, she picked actors from her troupe for characters inspired by the jobs at the factory. The game she was preparing would demand some serious acting…

For weeks, Meylinn imagined the perfect scenario. One that would be mysterious, intriguing, utterly gripping. But above all, one that would bring together every safety issue discussed, with priority given to the most dangerous and most urgent. She polished the details, found the costumes, adapted her story to the venue and briefed her actors.

On the big day, all the employees were gathered for a talk on safety. Faces were focused, the mood studious. Suddenly, two officers from the Investigation Brigade burst into the room! General alert: the civilians were being drafted into an urgent and confidential investigation. A fire had broken out at a nearby factory, and the officers were short-staffed. They needed the employees’ expertise to help solve the case!

And so the game began. All day long, the employees questioned the actors about their safety practices, their little mistakes and bad habits, everything they might have done to lead to a fire. Between laughter and tough interrogations, every single player was hooked, eager and curious to uncover the truth!

The teams also had access to the evidence. Safety documents similar to their own, proof of failings and other sensitive information. They went through every page with care and interest.

At the end of the day, after a great moment of team spirit, the teams delivered their verdict. And what an incredible moment it was!

The factory employees had understood: small individual mistakes could create a major safety risk for the whole company. And not only did they have the message firmly in mind, they drove it home to the actors, who then confessed their failings.

A.I.M. Events had accomplished its mission. A close-knit team in search of the truth, people who had picked up a wealth of knowledge and skills all day long without even realising it, and with great enjoyment, smiles on their faces and heads full of memories. But above all, a genuine awareness, and better reflexes from Monday morning!

And judging by his message the next day… Lionel seemed delighted too!

LionelThe next day

Meylinn, I’m absolutely thrilled with how the day went, it was beyond my expectations! That’s what you call a smash hit! Thanks again to you and your team for the idea and for pulling it off!

Your questions

Frequently asked questions

How much does a team building cost?

To work out your return on investment, you first need to calculate the cost of the event.

The costs linked to the event itself (venue hire, meals, transport…), and those linked to mobilising your teams (paid hours away from work, business downtime, impact on productivity…).

Once you have that cost in mind, you should have a budget left.

The idea is to use that budget to optimise your team building by multiplying its benefits. Good news: that’s our speciality. We don’t just make games that are fun; we make your time and your investment pay off.

Our immersive games start at €4,950 excl. VAT, and are quoted individually after a 30-minute audit.

What is included in the price of a team building?

The audit is free. So is the bespoke proposal for the perfect team building activity for your team. Once you decide to work with us, everything is included.

  • Meetings (information gathering, site visits…)
  • Bespoke creation (scenario, characters, world…)
  • The actors (rehearsals, fees, costumes…)
  • Coordination (client follow-up, on-the-day coordination…)
  • Equipment (logistics, sound…)
  • The debrief (immediate, follow-up, ROI and KPIs on request…)
  • Professional liability insurance
How long does a team building last?

Our games are designed to be immersive. You need time to step into the world.

So our team building sessions last at least 3 hours, and can be spread over a full day or more.

How long does it take to organise a team building?

For you, 30 minutes to 3 hours. If your challenge is simple, the audit is enough for us to send you a proposal by email, and we handle everything else. If your challenge is more complex, we plan a longer meeting to fully understand the subject. Either way, we take up as little of your time as possible, because your time is precious.

For us, it takes about a month from your audit to the day of the event. We can go faster, but only for simple challenges and if we are available. Our creative work is substantial, and we choose to give it the time its quality deserves. For your satisfaction, and your teams’.

Can you suggest team building venues?

We don’t manage or book the venue for your team building. But we work anywhere.

In a venue you hire for the occasion, in a charming village or a big city, on site at your own premises, on an estate or in a warehouse. We scout the location and adapt the game to the terrain, for guaranteed immersion.

We are based in the Gard, between Uzès and Avignon, where Occitanie meets Provence. So we can recommend the best playgrounds in the area.

Our favourite settings are Provence, the Alpilles and the Luberon. But also the Ardèche, the Cévennes, the Camargue, Mont Ventoux, the Gard Rhodanien…

Close to home, we often play at the Pont du Gard, in Bagnols-sur-Cèze, Nîmes and Orange, sometimes in Les Baux-de-Provence, and we have a soft spot for Marseille and Aix-en-Provence.

And we travel further afield. Across France and abroad.

What we offer is unique. If you think we can bring your team the very best of team building, we will come to you.

Get in touch to discuss it.

How many people can take part in a team building?

Our games make sense when you are a team. So whether you are 8 or more than 500 people, if you have team cohesion challenges, we can help.

Be careful: if you are a large group, choosing the right team building provider matters. At A.I.M. Events, we know how to run large-scale games while maintaining quality and overall cohesion, without splitting the group or duplicating activities.

What matters is that the number of participants is never a detail, and that it is fully taken into account when designing your event. From the smallest group to the largest.

What if I don’t have any team building ideas?

That’s exactly what the 30-minute audit is for. To take a 360-degree look at your company and its challenges. It is rare that we don’t find one or more areas for improvement.

Is your team really a team? Does everyone know each other, talk to each other, communicate easily? Are there no internal tensions, no friction between departments? Does information flow smoothly?

And in your company, does everyone feel part of it? Represented by its values, and representing them? Is there a real company culture? A genuine sense of belonging?

What about newcomers? Were they made to feel welcome? No intergenerational issues with longer-serving staff?

By the way, do you find it easy to recruit? Is staff turnover low? Do you retain your talent? Do you have a strong employer brand?

And do you look after your teams? Their wellbeing and quality of life at work? Do you thank them often? Do you give them moments to pause, share and have fun?

Right now, isn’t there a subject that would help you move forward? Making them aware of your CSR approach? Raising their awareness of climate change? Finally getting them to take safety seriously? Helping them embrace AI? Training them in a fun, enjoyable and highly effective way?

As you can see, we have a lot to offer. But to do so, we need to get to know you. Book a call online. At worst, you will spend 30 free minutes taking stock of your company and getting expert advice.

Does everyone enjoy team building?

With A.I.M. Events, yes.

First, because we do in-depth profiling work with you, to fully understand your teams and adapt the game.

Next, because we build accessible, inclusive games. With more than 10 years of experience, we have acquired all the social and human mechanisms and techniques to anticipate every reaction from every profile. We take no risks: never any embarrassing, compulsory, humiliating, ridiculous or excluding games.

And finally, because if, despite all that, some people are still reluctant on the day, our troupe of actors is trained every year in group engagement, conflict management and in-character techniques for handling the most difficult individuals.

Can you organise a team building for a private event, a birthday or a hen or stag party?

Yes, if you think we are the right people for it.

Our games are carefully designed, co-created around your own story and thought through down to the smallest detail to make a lasting impression and create unforgettable memories. And they are brought to life by real professional actors who play tailor-made roles to interact with your guests.

If our method matches what you have in mind, and you are looking for an exceptional experience that brings people together, then yes, we are the right choice.

If in doubt, book a call, and we will be happy to point you towards the right activities, free of charge.

What happens if there is a cancellation or a last-minute change?

Our Terms and Conditions of Sale are available on request.

But rest assured, we are experts in agility: always flexible and solution-oriented. Everything can be anticipated, and when it can’t, everything can be adapted.

Book a 30-minute call, and we will answer all your questions.
